The journey begins in Toronto, the largest city in Canada, and its economic capital. Toronto is a city of diversity, with a rich culture that is reflected in the wide variety of cuisines and world-class museums. Our group started their trip by visiting Toronto Islands, a cluster of islands located just off the city’s waterfront. You can reach the islands by ferry, offering a gorgeous skyline view of the city. The islands are a paradise for those who love to stroll or bike across them. After having an enjoyable boat ride, the group set out to explore the distillery district, a former industrial district transformed into a vibrant pedestrian village. Walking across the red-brick streets, one can feel the history and charm of the old Victorian-era architecture. The group decides to stop by at Soma Chocolate, one of Canada’s best chocolate shops, to try something sweet.
From Toronto, the group heads out to Niagara Falls, a natural wonder that attracts millions of visitors from around the world. The falls comprise the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The Horseshoe Falls is the most popular and dominates the Niagara skyline. The team got on a Hornblower Niagara cruise to experience the sheer power of this mighty waterfall. The boat ride takes you right up to the falls, offering a unique view of them. The team witnessed the falls’ thunderous roar up close and relished the thrill of the water hitting them hard as they came close.
Next up, the team sets its sights on Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only walled city in North America. The city offers an enchanting experience, with its cobbled streets, horse-drawn carriages, and traditional cafes. The cobblestone streets lead to the iconic Chateau Frontenac, one of the most photographed landmarks in Canada. The Chateau offers a panoramic view of Quebec City, and the team decided to check out the city’s skyline from the terrace.
Montreal, the second-largest city in Canada, was next on the itinerary. Montreal has a vibrant culture, which can be seen in its language, food, and architecture. The team was looking forward to trying the famous Montreal bagels and poutine, a Canadian specialty. Visiting the Old Montreal district gave the team a chance to experience the city’s colonial past. The narrow and winding cobblestone streets, along with the horse-drawn carriages, make it a fascinating experience.
Leaving the city behind, the team set out towards Jasper National Park, in the province of Alberta. The team was excited to experience the natural beauty that Canada is famous for. Jasper National Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the world and is famous for its wildlife and scenic beauty. Renting bikes, the group cycled through the park, taking in the scenic views of the mountains, glaciers, and pristine lakes. The team also got on board the Jasper SkyTram, the highest and the longest cable car ride in Canada. The SkyTram ride gave the team a unique view of the park, and the team managed to take some stunning aerial footage.
The team concluded the trip by visiting Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, situated in Banff National Park. Moraine Lake is one of the world’s most photographed lakes, and the team was spellbound by its beauty. The lake emanates a surreal emerald-green color that changes with the sunlight. Lake Louise is another stunning lake, surrounded by colossal snow-capped mountains. The group decided to hike the nearby Plain of Six Glaciers trail, known for its stunning views and alpine experience.
